About the Artist
Glenn Barbeisch a New York native comes from a family of three generations of metal work designers.
Glenn has apprenticed under a number of independent jewellers in New York, Quito-Ecuador and Montreux-Switzerland. He also trained under other independent glass and sculpture artists which he reflects upon in his jewellery creations.
Glenn has designed and created jewellery pieces for select individuals for a number of years before going public with his work. His first public showing of his Modern Antiquities Collection was displayed at Olga Fisch- Folklore in Quito, Ecuador.
About the Collections
The modern Antiquities collection was developed with techniques and design concepts which reflect a fusion of cultural and historical inspirations to create a timeless classic of wearable art. Each piece is handmade and unique, never to be duplicated by the artist .
New collections are begining to be created including some with more contemporary designs which are intended for all ocassions. These new collections will include pieces for both women and men.
